BAD WEATHER TO LOWER RI'S CRUDE OIL OUTPUT

Jakarta, Feb 2 (ANTARA) - Indonesia's crude oil and condensate output is expected to fall in the December 2008-February 2009 period due to bad weather, an official said.
The drop was something normal during the months, Head of the Upstream Oil and Gas Executive Agency (BP Migas) R Priyono said here on Monday.
In January 2009, crude oil and condensate output reached an average of 958,179 barrels per day, slightly lower than the assumed production of 960,000 bpd in the 2009 state budget, he said.
But he added he was optimistic the agency could achieve the oil production target of 960,000 bpd this year.
"The target of 960,000 bpd in the 2009 state budget is the average daily production throughout this year. In the months ahead we will try to raise the production," he said.
