SEVEN MISSING MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS FOUND ALIVE

Bogor, Indonesia, Feb 3 (ANTARA) - Seven mountain climbers from Jakarta-based Yarsi University who had been reported missing were found alive by search and rescue (SAR) workers on top of Mount Salak in Bogor on Tuesday morning.

Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS) spokesman Bambang Supriyanto said the rescue workers had found the students and would evacuate them to Cimalati later in the day.

"The seven students will be evacuated and are expected to arrive at the Cimalati command post by 01:00 or 02:00 in the afternoon," Bambang Supriyanto said.

He added that the students, reported missing on Monday, were identified as Sopyan (21) and Reza (21) of the faculty of medicine, Henky (22) of the faculty of information technology, Rizki (18) of the faculty of law, Dimas (18), Dika (18), and Tryas (21) of the faculty of medicine.

Bambang said when the students arrive at the Cimalati command post , they would undergo a physical examination to decide whether they needed to be treated in a hospital , clinic, or could be sent home.

"If their physical condition is good, they will be evacuated to Jakarta and be hand over to their families," Bambang said.
