President of Philippines receives Minister of Commerce
Riyadh, February 03, SPA -- President of the Philippines Maria Gloria
Macapagal-Arroyo, received today at her residence at Riyadh
Conference Palace Abdullah Ahmed Zainel, Minister of Commerce and
Industry.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues as regards the
bilateral relations between the two countries.
In 2007, the volume of trade exchange between the two countries
amounted to SR 13, 003 million. Out of this amount, Saudi exports to
Philippines accounted for SR 12, 510 Million, while the Philippines
exports to Saudi Arabia were worth SR 493 million.
