PM congratulates Sisaket BANGKOK, March 20 (TNA) -- Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha has congratulated the country's boxer, Sisaket Sor Rungvisai or Sisaket Nakhonluang Promotion, for winning the WBC super flyweight title on Saturday at Madison Square Garden. Government spokesman Lt Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd said the premier had expressed his congratulations to Sisaket for winning the title against the champion Roman Gonzalez, who had never lost to anyone in all of his 46 matches since starting his career. He said Gen Prayuth stressed that the boxing champ fought without fear, which showed his strong determination and bravery and handing Nicaragua's Gonzalez the first loss of his star-studded career. The spokesman noted that prime minister would also like Thai youths to look up to the boxing champion as a role model to always have determination and preparations to push through any obstacles to achieve success. Sisaket took home the WBC super flyweight title Saturday with a stunning majority decision. (TNA)
