Minister of Education starts Finland Visit

Riyadh, February 04, SPA -- Minister of Education Dr Abdullah
Al-Obaid started a visit to Finland on Monday in response to an
invitation from the Finnish Education Ministry.

Dr Al-Obaid was briefed on the educational system in the country
during a visit to Finland's Council of the National Education. He
also got acquainted with models of School Designs.


The Saudi Education Minister also visited the National Center for
the training of teachers.


Meanwhile, Dr Al-Obaid and his accompanying delegation visited
Helsinki University. The delegation includes Dr Naif Al-Roomi, the
Under Secretary of the Education Ministry for planning and
development, and other senior officials.
