Sudanese Minister of State, Saudi ambassador discuss trade ties
Khartoum, February 04, SPA -- Sudanese Minister of State at the Trade
Ministry Al-Sumeih Al-Siddeeq met here today Saudi ambassador to
Sudan Mohammed bin Abbas Al-Kilabi.
During the meeting, they reviewed trade issues.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese Minister of State said the trade balance
between the two countries has amounted to $2.5 billion after removing
the barriers which were facing the commercial activity between the
two countries.
He urged the Saudi investors to broaden the scope of their
investment and establish partnerships with Sudan in a manner that
serves the mutual interest.
Meanwhile, the two sides underlined the importance of establishing a
shipping fleet that links Sudan with the member states of the Gulf
Cooperation Council.
