PERTAMINA'S NEW PRESIDENT DIRECTOR INSTALLED
Jakarta, Feb 5 (ANTARA) - State Enterprises Minister Sofyan Djalil installed Karen Agustiawan as the new president director of state oil company PT Pertamina to replace Ari Sumarno here Thursday.
During the inauguration ceremony at his office, Djalil also installed Pertamina's new deputy president director, Omar S Anwar, to replace Iin Arfin Takhyan.
In addition, the minister also installed Gita Wiryawan, Sumarsono, and Humayun Bosha as the company's commissioners.
The minister said the Pertamina's new board of directors were expected to make a significant change toward a betterment.
According to the minister, the government hope the state oil company would be a world-class enterprise which continues to make reforms in the continuation of MySAP system which has been proven to be transparent, and became an unlisted open company.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by among others Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Department of Oil and Gas Director General Evita Legowo, chief Upstream Oil and Gas Regulating Body R Priyono, and the leader of the House of Representatives (DPR)'s Commission-VII.
