4 victims of Pattani attacks remain in critical

BANGKOK, May 10 (TNA) – Four victims of Tuesday’s bomb attacks in the Thai southern province of Pattani remained in critical condition, one of whom had to be transferred to another hospital for further treatment, according to the director of the Pattani hospital. Pattani Hospital Director Dr Sakchai Tangchitvittaya said the four patients, one of whom is a child, remained hospitalized under close observation after they were critically injured by the bomb blasts at a Big C Supercenter in the country’s restive south. One of the injured had severe head wounds and required a surgery. As a result, he has been transferred to Hat Yai Hospital for the operation and further treatment. He added that 21 injured people remained in the hospital. (TNA)
