26 car bomb victims remain in hospital

PATTANI, May 11 (TNA) – Twenty-six people, wounded in Tuesday’s car bomb at Bug C supermarket in the southern province of Pattani remain in hospital. About 50 people were wounded in the incident and all of four victims, who were severely wounded including a five-year-old girl, are now in stable condition. ACM Kasem Yoosuk, head of the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary, representing HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn yesterday visited the injured victims at Pattani Provincial Hospital. His Majesty the King granted them vases of flowers and gift baskets. Meanwhile, Pattani police chief Pol Maj-Gen Piyawat Chalermsri said that the police found that three group of six people were involved in carrying out the attack. An arrest warrant was issued yesterday for Makorseng Ma-ae, 25 who was also wanted for three other bombings in Pattani. The officials have assessed the situation and tightened security in urban areas, he said. (TNA)
