Actress fails to show up for police summon on money laundering charges

BANGKOK, May 11 (TNA) – The police will issue the second summon for the actress, Napapa Tantrakul or Patt to acknowledge money laundering charges against her after she failed to show up for the first summon today. Another summon will be issued on May 15, said the police from the Narcotic Suppression Bureau. The actress was charged with money laundering and money laundering conspiracy after she could not clarify about 1.9 million baht of money, transferred to her account from her husband. Her husband, motorcycle racer, Akarakit Worarojcharoendet or “Benz Racing” faces the same charges, linked to the Laotian drug kingpin Xaysana Keopimpha, now in police custody.
