IDB`s Board of Executive Directors holds Meeting

Jeddah, February 08, SPA -- The Board of Executive Directors of
Islamic Development Bank (IDB) held here today its 257th session
under the chairmanship of the Bank's President Dr. Ahmed Muhammad
Ali.

The session's agenda includes reports and working papers on the
impact of the global financial crisis on the Bank and its member
states, the achievement of the Bank's objectives, and implementation
of Jeddah Declaration on the assistance of the less developed member
states affected by the global food crisis.


During the past two days, a number of the Bank's committees
including Committees of Finance, Management and Operations held
meetings in Jeddah to prepare for the session of the Board of
Executive Directors.
