Prince Sattam chairs High Commission of Riyadh Development

Riyadh, February 11, SPA -- Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Acting
Governor of Riyadh region and Chairman of High Committee for
Environment Protection chaired the Committee's 4th meeting here on
Tuesday.


Eng. Abdullatif bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheikh, Member of High
Commission for Riyadh Development and Chief of Projects and Planning
Center pointed out that the meeting discussed the results prepared by
the Commission on air quality in Riyadh, assessment of various
effects of air pollution on human health, economic implications and
ways for the control of pollution.


He noted that the Committee adopted a strategy for the management of
air quality in the city based on procedures and mechanisms to reduce
pollution and to continuously monitor air quality.
