King receives Letter from US President

Riyadh, February 11, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received today a reply cable of thanks
from US President Barack Obama in response to the king's letter of
congratulations on Obama's presidency.

In his cable, President Obama extended his thanks to the king saying,
"I thank you for congratulating me on my being elected the President
of the United States of America. I'm grateful to your letter and I'm
sure we will work together in a spirit of peace and friendship to
build a safer world during the next four years. I am looking forward
to working with you to achieve this and to boost the good relations
between our two countries".
