Two cousins caught in chocolate theft ahead of Valentine's Day

SEOUL, Feb. 13 (Yonhap) -- Two 20-something-year-old females were caught
red-handed while attempting to steal chocolates ahead of Valentine's Day, police
said Friday.

The female cousins, known only by their family names Kim, 28, and Lee, 22, were
nabbed late Thursday while walking out of a supermarket in eastern Seoul with
their bags packed full of unpaid food products. Chocolate comprised about
two-thirds of the products, worth about 98,000 won (US$70), Seoul police said.
The two cousins asked the police for mercy, explaining they wanted to give people
chocolates on Valentine's Day, which falls on Saturday, but did not have much
money.
