OIC and International Islamic Relief Organization Hold Meeting

Jeddah, February 14, SPA -- The Secretary General of International
Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) Dr. Adnan bin Khalil Basha has met
here with Director General for Political and Humanitarian Affairs of
the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ambassador Ata Al-Mannan
Bakhit.

During the meeting, the International Islamic Relief Organization
expressed its full readiness to cooperate with the Organization of
Islamic Conference to work together to overcome obstacles that
obstruct the delivery of relief supplies and assistance to affected
areas in light of the difficult circumstances of the Palestinian
people in the Gaza Strip.

They also discussed the aspects of joint cooperation between the two
bodies particularly the plan for accelerating the delivery of
foodstuffs to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
