Southern Governor chairs security committee meeting

Manama, Sep. 12 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has affirmed the governorate’s key role in maintaining security and public order across its towns and villages, in coordination with the relevant security authorities. Chairing the first meeting of Southern Governorate’s Security Committee, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali lauded the efforts exerted by the security bodies across the governorate to maintain public order, enforce the law and consolidate community partnership. The governor reviewed a number of topic on the meeting’s agenda, including security measures to ease traffic congestions, and serve the local citizens. He urged the committee members to carry on their efforts to address all security and social violations, if any, and to interact with the citizens’ remarks and realistic suggestions. He also directed them to inform him about the security needs and requirements in order to give them priority and try to meet them. He pointed out that the Southern Governorate would spare no efforts to strengthen the pillars of security across its towns and villages, foster the sense of responsibility, and deepen the values of cooperation, national belonging and the concepts of national unity and one-family principles through programmes and activities. What distinguishes the kingdom is its unique model of national unity and cohesive social texture that brings together the leadership and people within a framework of loyalty, dedication and giving.
