Voluntary Work Award ceremony to be held on Thursday

Cairo, Sep. 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa Voluntary Work Award came under the spotlight. Bahrain Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of the prize in supporting Arab charity and humanitarian work. He made the statement during a press conference convened in Cairo to announce details of the ceremony which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, in honour of Arab voluntary work pioneers. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit will attend the event. The ambassador stressed Bahrain’s long-standing endeavor and dedication to protecting the Arab and national voluntary work heritage and supporting charity foundations. “The award has become one of the most important Arab prizes which were launched to serve humanity and foster the values of loyalty and belonging among young generations", he said. Hassan Bouhaza’a, Arab Voluntary Work Union Chairman, Head of the organizing committee in charge of Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa Voluntary Work Award, President of Good Word Society, stressed the crucial importance of the prize.
