DERASAT hosts "Do Not Give Up" book launch

Manama, Sep. 14 (BNA): Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) hosted the launch of "Do Not Give Up" book written by the General Director of the UAE Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Souwaidi, in the presence of Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Advisor of HM the King for Media Affairs Nabeel bin Yacoub Al Hamer, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulrhida Abdullah Al Khoury, intellectuals and DERASAT officials. Minister Shaikh Khalid Al Khalifa, while attending the event, has called on all readers to seek knowledge in this informative book in which the author reviews his expertise and experiences at the personal humanistic level, his experience with sickness, as well as his tireless patriotic sentiment of belonging to his country and its leadership. The minister described Dr. Jamal Al Souwaidi as a notable Arab intellectual whose writings are celebrated by Bahraini and Arab readers after having read all of his books from which he benefitted a lot. Dr. Al Souwaidi’s book narrates his rich academic and literary career.
