Bahrain participates in MiSK-UNDP forum in NYC

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has delegated Hisham Mohammed Al Jowder the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs in attending MiSK Foundation-UNDP Forum titled "Promoting Tolerance for Peace, Sustainable Development." The forum was held in New York City, co-organized by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's MiSK Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The forum was intended to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and promote cultural understanding, mutual respecting, citizenship values, shared responsibilities, create a global community of youth leaders, provide a dialogue platform for global youth dialogue, government officials, private sector executives, and to boost the role of youth to achieve sustainable development and international security. The event was attended by 400 ministers and officials, UN officials, private and public sector executives and youth leaders from around the world for the purpose of creating a global community of outstanding youth leaders, to provide a platform for dialogue, to encourage the ideas of youth with the aim of finding sustainable development solutions.
