Saudi deviant surrenders, official source announces
Riyadh, February 17 , SPA -- Mohammed Ateeq Owaidh Al-Oafi Al-Harbi,
a former Guantanamo Bay detainee, has willingly been repatriated to
Saudi security authority, it was announced here today.
In a statement, an official source of the Ministry of Interior of
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said that concerted efforts by security
authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen
have resulted in the repatriation of Mohammed Ateeq Owaidh Al-Oafi
Al-Harbi, a former Guantanamo Bay detainee once wanted by the Saudi
security authorities.
Al-Harbi, who once appeared on an internet tape as the field leader
of the deviant group organization, has passed through contacts by his
relatives to the Riyadh-based Care and Rehabilitation Center his
personal wish to surrender, the source added.
