Interior Minister receives Chief of Durham Police

Manama, Sep. 24 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Chief of Durham Police in the United Kingdom Mike Barton and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and British Ambassador to Bahrain Simon Martin. The Interior Minister welcomed the guests, hailing strong and strategic Bahrain-UK ties. He briefed British official on the efforts of the Interior Ministry in maintaining security, public order and safety. The meeting reviewed security cooperation and coordination amid current challenges and topics of common interest. (MOI)
