Daewoo Engineering wins US$278 mln order for LNG facility
SEOUL, Feb. 19 (Yonhap) -- Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., South Korea's
largest builder, said Thursday that it received a US$278 million order to build a
liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in Algeria.
The deal calls on the builder to complete construction of the facility by Jan.
2012, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Shares of Daewoo Engineering were trading at 9,810 won ($6.7) on the Seoul bourse
as of 10:50 a.m., up 2.08 percent.
