Bahraini-Egyptian strategic relations hailed

Manama, Oct. 12 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has lauded the strategic relations between Bahrain and Egypt, describing them as exemplary in fraternity, cooperation and unified stances in confronting the challenges facing the Arab world. The governor commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the Government of Egypt during the ceremony to confer the Arab League Shield for Pioneering Development Work,on His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. While receiving the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Suha Ibrahim Mohammed Rifaat, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali expressed thanks and appreciation to Egypt for the facilities provided by various government departments in Egypt to ensure the success of the award-distribution ceremony of the HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Award for Voluntary Work. The governor discussed with the ambassador ways to bolster relations between the two brotherly countries. The Egyptian envoy voiced pride in the long-standing relations between the two countries, lauding Bahrain’s supportive stances towards Egypt’s security and stability.
