Royal Guard Special Force Commander visits BIDEC 2017 pavilions

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit today to Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2017) which is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. He toured the exhibition, accompanied by a number of BDF officers, and visited the participants' pavilions where he exchanged talks with the exhibitors on their participation. Then, he inspected vehicles and weapons showcased in the exhibition and listened to a detailed account by experts and specialists on their types and ways of using them. Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa lauded the participants' keenness to take part in the exhibition which represents a large venue for major companies to showcase cutting edge military technologies and defence systems. He commended the outstanding efforts of Royal Guard Commander and BIDEC High Organising Committee Chairman Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in ensuring success of the event. He asserted that the exhibition has boosted Bahrain's international status as a host of military exhibitions, pointing out the role of the exhibition in promoting cooperation and partnership and enhancing military readiness to deter all forms of terrorism.
