Cabinet ministers marked the King Chulalongkorn Day
BANGKOK, Oct 23 – The prime minister led cabinet ministers to lay a wreath at the Equestrian Statue of King Chulalongkorn to mark the 107th anniversary of the passing of the king.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha led cabinet ministers in the activity to remember King Chulalongkorn or King Rama V who had done great contributions to the national and public interest including the abolition of slavery, educational reform and other national development projects that have protected national sovereignty since.
Representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations also placed wreaths there on the same occasion. They included the Royal Thai Police Office, the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, King Prajadhipok’s Institute, Vajiravudh College, the National Legislative Assembly and Chulalongkorn University.
