People camp out to attend Royal Cremation

BANGKOK, Oct 24 (TNA) - People started to reserve the places near Sanam Luang ceremonial ground to camp out ahead of the Royal Cremation Day after hotels in surrounding areas are fully booked. At a bridge near the Interior Ministry, people started to camp out along a canal to attend the historic events during Oct 25-26. Some people from upcountry decided to set up tents for staying overnight after all hotels are fully booked. They carried necessary items with them such as clothes, food and drinking water. Meanwhile, volunteers cook food for these people and for the general public, who come to offer marigold garlands in front of the late King’s portrait outside the Grand Palace. (TNA)
