Prince Andrew arrives in Bangkok for royal cremation

BANGKOK, Oct 24 (TNA) – Prince Andrew, the Duke of York arrived in Bangkok to attend the royal cremation ceremony of His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Busadee Santipitaks said the British royal Prince Andrew arrived with Thai Airways TG 911 at Suvarnabhumi Airport early morning on Tuesday. He was welcomed by Privy councilor, Atthaniti Disathamnarj and deputy prime minister Deputy Prime Minister Prajin Juntong. Royals and dignitaries from over 40 countries confirmed to attend the cremation. Among the guest list are Japan’s Prince Akishino and his wife, Princess Kiko, Queen Maxima from the Netherlands and the King and Queen of Bhutan. (TNA)
