Inter-provincial buses expects daily 150,000 passengers today

BANGKOK, Oct 25 (TNA) – The Transport Co Ltd, inter-provincial bus operator, expected at least 120,000 people are travelling form upcountry to Bangkok today before the Royal Cremation Ceremony tomorrow. The number of passengers are likely to peak this afternoon, said Jirasak Yaowatchakul, President of Transport Co, Ltd said. Yesterday, it recorded the number of passengers on Oct 24 at about 120,000 people, increased from the daily passengers at about 30,000 people. They mostly come from the North and the Northeast. The company increased bus trips to 9,000 for a daily maximum of 180,000 passengers across the country. Free shuttle buses are available from bus terminals to BTS skytrain stations to facilitate passengers, travelling to Sanam Luang. (TNA)
