OIC condemns terrorist attack on police bus in Bahrain

Jeddah, Oct. 30 (BNA): The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the terrorist attack which targeted a police bus near Jidhafs area on Friday, October 27 and took the life of a policeman injuring eight others. The OIC Secretary-general Dr. Yusuf Ahmed Al Othaimeen expressed the Organisation's solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain to confront terrorism and to tackle anything that undermines Bahrain's security and the safety of its residents. Al Othaimeen reiterated the OIC's firm principled position to combat terrorism and extremism whatsoever its source or objectives. He expressed his sincere condolences to the Government of Bah rain and the family of the fallen policeman, wishing the injured a quick healing.
