Southern Governor meets Chinese Ambassador

Manama, Oct.30 (BNA): Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa received Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Qi Zhenhong and hailed steadily-growing trade, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and the Chinese envoy reviewed good bilateral relations and ways of expanding cooperation, hailing the honourable Chinese stances in support of Bahrain’s security and stability. The two sides discussed ways of expanding cultural exchanges through events and activities which reflect the deep-rooted heritage of Bahrain and China. Ambassador Qi Zhenhong expressed readiness to back the initiatives and visions of HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalif, stressing keenness on strengthening joint cooperation between Bahrain and China.
