Large crowd visit royal crematorium

BANGKOK, Nov 3 (TNA) – A large crowd have visited the royal crematorium and an exhibition about His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the second day of its opening to the public viewing. About 30,000 visitors were reported yesterday after the opening ceremony, presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Taking selfies and Facebook live broadcast are prohibited and visitors are not allowed to touch parts of craftsmanship works or objects during the 45-minute tour. The first and the second floor of the royal crematorium are now off-limits after improper behavior of some visitors caused some damage earlier. Today, officials and volunteers designated walkway clearly to prevent confusion. The exquisite royal crematorium and related building will be opened to public until the end of this month. Five screening checkpoints have been set up around Sanam Luang, including one checkpoint for monks and the other for the disabled. (TNA)
