HM King to patronize 'THIS IS BAHRAIN in BAHRAIN' celebrations
Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) has announced that under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, "THIS IS BAHRAIN" will take place in Bahrain marking the Kingdom's celebrations of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 46th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne.
Betsy B Mathieson, Secretary-general of organisers BFEA said, THIS IS BAHRAIN in BAHRAIN is the perfect opportunity for our communities to come together and thank His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to show our love and respect for the Leadership and for each other, in the true Bahraini way, by sharing and celebrating as One Family, so we look forward to seeing everyone on Friday 15th December 2016 from 4pm onwards."
Mathieson said that event due to take place on Friday, December 15, will feature exhibition stands from embassies, schools, clubs, associations, societies, religious organisations and will include lots of live entertainment throughout the day provided by school children of all nationalities who will perform dances and songs that represent their culture.
A traditional Bahraini Souk will be recreated and raffle tickets with prizes ranging from airline tickets, to smart phones, electronic goods, dinner vouchers and hotel stays. A special feature will be a children’s playground with lots of fun activities to keep the children amused. Entry is free and the event is at the National Stadium Car Park, Riffa, from 4pm to 11pm.
