Interior Under Secretary to attend Bahrain Security Forum &

Riyadh, February 22, SPA -- Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Salem, the Under
Secretary of the Ministry of Interior will participate in the
upcoming event of the second edition of Bahrain Security Forum &
Exhibition to be held during the period 29-30 / 2 /1430 AH in
response to the invitation of Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah
Al Khalifah, Minister of the Interior in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Dr. Al-Salem, in a statement to the Saudi News Agency (SPA),
said that the participation of Saudi Arabia in this important
international forum is in the context of the directives of Prince
Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of the Interior and his deputy, and his
assistant for security affairs and their support to all aspects of
dialogue, cooperation and exchange of experiences that serve the
regional and international security in general, and Arab security and
the security of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab
States of the Gulf, in particular.

The Organizing Committee has nominated Dr. Al Salim to the
presidency of the second session to be held on Wednesday. The session
will be entitled "cross-border threats to internal security .. A
Global Vision." Dr Al Salim also will be one of the keynote speakers
on the subject.
