One died, 24 injured in explosion at Al-Hussein neighborhood in

Cairo, February 22, SPA -- One French female tourist died and 24
other persons were injured in a blast which took place in Al-Hussein
neighborhood in the center of Cairo last night.


A statement issued today by the Ministry of Health and Population
disclosed that the injured included 3 Saudis, 17 French citizens, one
German and three Egyptians.


The Ministry said 19 injured people were discharged from hospitals
following the improvement of their health conditions and 5 injured
persons are still undergoing treatment.
