Cairo, February 23, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador Hisham Mohieddin Nazer
has paid a visit to International Egypt Hospital in Cairo to be
reassured about the conditions of 3 Saudis who were injured in the
blast in Al-Hussein neighborhood in the center of Cairo last night.
The ambassador emphasized the importance of providing the best
medical services to the three slightly injured Saudis including
Munaji bin Ali Hadi Sarkhi, Yahya Ali Moussa Sarkhi, and Mohammed bin
Bahaiss Nasser Sarkhi.
The Head of Saudi Citizens Department at the Embassy Ibrahim
Al-Humaid pointed out that the conditions of the three Saudis have
been reassuring and stable, indicating that they have been provided
with the first aid.
He noted that it has been decided that all the injured people will
be transferred to Nasser Institute upon the directives of the
Egyptian leadership.
Al-Humaid affirmed that Ambassador Nazer recommended during his
inspection tour of the injured Saudis in the hospital to follow up
their conditions until they are discharged from the hospital and to
contact their parents and close relatives in Saudi Arabia to reassure
them about their conditions.
On his part, Mohammed bin Bahaiss Nasser Sarkhi, one of the
three injured Saudis said that he has been accompanied by his two
Saudi colleagues on a visit to Cairo for a week.
He noted that as soon as they got off a taxi in Al-Hussein
neighborhood, they heard after a few seconds a sound of a blast which
led to the injury of a number of people in the neighborhood which is
crowded by Arab and foreign tourists.
