Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held talks and a work lunch with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar the Sultan and Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta'zim in Malaysia, at the Gudaibiya Palace today.  HM Sultan Ibrahim is on a visit to Bahrain at the invitation of HM King Hamad. HM King Hamad reviewed with the Kingdom’s distinguished guest bilateral relations, and ways to bolster joint trade and economic cooperation through launching joint projects, as well as exchanging official visits to achieve common interests. HM the King expressed hope that HM Sultan Ibrahim’s visit will contribute to opening up new cooperation horizons, extending bridges of bilateral cultural and tourism relations, and expanding areas of bilateral trade and investments. HM King Hamad stressed that Bahrain’s strategic location on the international trade lines, as well as the facilities and easy procedures it offers for investors and businessmen, have entitled it to be a favourable destination for various mega international companies. Bahrain and sisterly Malaysia are two civilised countries with deep-rooted history, and are constantly keen on continuing their joint cooperation at all levels, HM the King said. HM King Hamad and HM Sultan Ibrahim stressed the importance of increasing partnership opportunities among businessmen and the private sector in the two countries in opening up wider horizons for advanced bilateral relations. HM Sultan Ibrahim lauded the comprehensive progress boom currently witnessed by Bahrain thanks to HM King Hamad’s leadership. He voiced pride in the good results of his visit to the Kingdom and his fruitful talks with HM the King, which, he said, will contribute to consolidating economic, trade and investment coordination between the two countries. He renewed thanks to HM King Hamad for his kind invitation to visit the kingdom, and for the gracious welcome accorded to him.
