HRH Premier receives HM Sultan Ibrahim of Johor

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar the Sultan and Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta'zim in Malaysia. He hailed his visit to Bahrain, stressing its importance in bolstering bilateral relations, maximizing the Malaysian national achievements and backing the efforts to maintain global security and stability. His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar lauded Bahrain’s development at all levels and success of the government, led by HRH the Premier, in laying solid bases for a more prosperous future. He stressed that he will direct the officials in the Malaysian government to avail of Bahrain’s development experience spearheaded by the government competently. HRH the Premier lauded steady growth of relations between Bahrain and the Territory of Johor Darul Ta'zim in Malaysia in light of the outstanding relations between both countries’ leaderships and mutual keenness on further bolstering them. He underlined the importance of exchanging visits to enhance cooperation and promote bilateral partnership mainly in the investment and trade fields. He also praised Malaysia’s comprehensive development in all sectors which turned it into an inspirational model for member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which Bahrain is keen to consolidate ties of friendship and cooperation with. His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar hailed HRH the Prime Minister’s efforts to cement relations between Bahrain and Malaysia, lauding his role in bolstering cooperation between the GCC countries and ASEAN.
