MONTHLY RP 10 MILLION EXTRA FOR SPECIALISTS ASSIGNED IN REGION
Bengkulu, Feb 24 (ANTARA) - The Mukomuko regency administration pledged a Rp 10 million allowance per month for specialists for assignment in the regions.
"Specialists willing to be sent to the Mukomuko regency will be given a Rp 10 million allowance per month, in addition to their regular salary and other facilities," spokesman for the Mukomuko regency administration secretary Yanzuri Nawawi said on Monday.
The facilities they will enjoy include office house and car.
It is a fact that Mukomuko regency still has no specialists, including a surgeon, obstetrician, pediatrician and ophthalmologist.
"Regent Ichwan Yunus had often invited specialists in many regions including Jakarta, asking for their readiness to be assigned in Mukomuko, but still no result," he said.
Most of them said Mukomuko is too far away from the Fatmawati airport of Bengkulu city to the region where they would be assigned.
The distance between Bengkulu city and Mukomuko regency is about 260 kilometers by land travel.
