TWO KILLED IN BOJONEGORO FLOODS
Bojonegoro, INDONESIA, Feb 24 (ANTARA) - Two people were killed in flash floods that swept through several parts of Bojonegoro district in East Java early Tuesday.
"Ali Rifai (30) was found dead at his home in Kuncen village this morning when the flood water receded," Padangan subdistrict head Kusnandoko said on Tuesday.
He was believed to have died of electric current while trying to save his belongings, Kusnandoko said.
The floods also killed a resident of Ngringinrejo village in Kalitidu subdistrict, Bojonegoro district.
The body of the villager, identified as Parmin (45), was found in Bengawan Solo river at 11.00 a.m. on Tuesday, chief of the Kalitidu police precinct Adj. Comr Wijianto said.***
