Jakarta, Feb 24 (ANTARA) - A total of 25 investors from Hong Kong are ready to make investment in the infrastructure, energy and food sectors in Indonesia, head of the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) M Lutfi said.
The plan of the Hong Kong investors to enter Indonesia was contained in a memorandum of understanding between BKPM and Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) signed here on Tuesday, Lutfi said.
"We offered investment opportunities in the infrastructure, energy and food sectors," he said adding that the value of the investment was still under exploration.
Besides with the HSBC, he said, BKPM also concluded an MoU with the chief executive officer of HCBC Indonesia, Rakesh Bhatia.
Lutfi said that the MoU was signed as a transfer of information on the investment opportunity in Indonesia and now it was being carried out by 25 investors from Hong Kong.***2***
