GPC and JMP agreed on running elections, says VP

SANA'A, Feb. 24 (Saba)- Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansor Hadi and deputy chairman
of the General People Congress GPC said on Tuesday that the GPC and the Joint
Meeting Parties JMP have agreed on running the elections together and doing
political and economic reforms to serve higher national interests.

During his meeting with visiting European parliament delegation, Hadi said that the
democracy in Yemen needs for further support from the EU and American National
Democracy Institute (NDI) and other concerned bodies.

He added that the democracy is logical solution for problems at social, economic,
political and cultural levels, highlighting role of the EU and the NDI for their
support for the democracy in the country.
