Al-Arhabi meets UNDP expert over climate change

SANA'A, Feb. 24 (Saba)-Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation Abdul Kareem al-Arhabi received on Tuesday UNDP special
expert of climate change initiative. They discussed impacts of the climate changes
on Yemen such as drought and floods.

Al-Arhabi affirmed importance of gathering international efforts to reduce these
negative impacts. They also discussed possibilities of jointing Yemen into the
investment fund related to climate change and supporting Yemen to enhance its
capabilities to protect the environment.
