Bahrain-Kuwait ties praised

Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA): Speaker Ahmed Ibrahim Al Mulla has praised the fraternal visit of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister to the sisterly State of Kuwait and meeting with its Amir HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister HH Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, to explore various avenues to bolster the bilateral cooperation ties. Al Mulla pointed out that the visit comes to affirm the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Amir His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. He stressed that the bilateral ties have become an example to be followed in international relations, extending across history and generations, and the love of Kuwait and its Amir the "Humanitarian Leader" ingrained in the soul of every citizen and household in Bahrain. The Speaker praised the efforts undertaken by the Kuwaiti Amir to achieve Arab and Gulf unity noting his wisdom aimed to ensure the best future for the Arab and Gulf countries and peoples, congratulating Kuwait on its successful hosting of the 23rd Gulf Football Cup Championship (Khaleeji23), and its UNSC membership that affirms Kuwait’s successful policy and diplomacy in the Gulf and internationally led by its Amir HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad, wishing Kuwait more progress and prosperity, security and stability.
