Ambassador praises NCC's role

Manama, Jan. 6 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has stressed the key role played by the National Communication Centre (NCC) in projecting the real and honourable image of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the world, highlighting the importance of the strategies put forward by NCC in order to achieve its goals, in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. While visiting the NCC, the ambassador said that the centre’s cooperation and coordination with Bahrain’s embassies abroad are essential to continue conveying Bahrain’s media message to a wider regional and international public. NCC Chief Executive, Dr. Mohammed Bahzad, welcomed the ambassador’s visit, praising the cooperation of the Bahrain UK Embassy’s team with NCC, affirming that joint work with the Foreign Affairs Ministry and Bahrain’s diplomatic missions abroad will strengthen NCC’s role in building solid and distinguished relations with the communication and media sector, regionally and internationally. He added that among the core functions of NCC is to coordinate with all the relevant parties to ensure that the voice of the Kingdom of Bahrain is delivered to wider segments at the local and international levels, more clearly and with richer content and more innovative methods. The National Communication Centre is responsible for developing communication plans and strategies, unifying government discourse and overseeing the implementation and development of these plans in coordination with the concerned authorities.
