Congress President visits Bahrain National Museum

Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): President of the Indian National Congress party Rahul Gandi visited today Bahhrain National Museum on the sidelines of his official visit to Bahrain. He was welcomed by a delegation from Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) headed by the Museums Director Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. The Congress President was informed about the museum and its collectibles which depict the glory of Bahrain’s history and culture. He lauded strong bilateral relations, stressing the importance of boosting cultural communication between the two friendly countries. He was also informed about the 6th Bahrain International Sculpture Symposium which is held at the back square of the museum and will continue till January 16.
