VAKHID AKHMEDOV, MEMBER OF AZERBAIJANI PARLIAMENT:
- Political and economic relations between our countries have always been at a high level. In recent years, especially, the economic ties have been expanded. Kazakhstan transported its oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Negotiations on the transportation of the Kazakh gas through Azerbaijan’s territory are underway.
The strategic plans of the two states are grand. Depending on the increase in oil and gas production, the states will develop more freight routes. The team of experts will determine the competitiveness of the export goods. Kazakhstan intends to supply chemical raw materials, grain, tobacco products and electrical equipment to Azerbaijan.
