Sukuk Al-Salam issue 201 fully subscribed: CBB

Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities, has been subscribed by 100%. Subscriptions worth BD 43 million were received for the BD 43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days. The expected return on the issue, which begins on 17th January 2018 and matures on 18th April 2018, is 3.08 % compared to 2.98 for the previous issue on 20th December 2017. The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is issue No.: 201 (BH00017A2071) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Salam series.
