EARTHQUAKE JOLTS EAST NUSA TENGGARA EARLY THURSDAY



Jakarta, Feb. 26 (ANTARA) - A tectonic earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Waingapu, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, early Thursday.

The quake's epicenter was located at 11.61 degrees southern latitude and 118.24 degrees eastern longitude, around 311 km southwest of Waingapu, at a depth of 10 below sea level, according to information of the national meteorological and geophysics office here on Thursday.
Four temblors have jolted East Nusa Tenggara Province since the past two weeks, but there were no reports of damages or casualties in the earthquakes.
