Bahrain to host Gulf Future Education, Technology Forum

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Bahrain will host the Gulf Future Education & Technology Forum under the patronage of Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al- Nuaimi, on May 18-19. This exhibition aims to harness technology as a tool to enhance the efficiency of education for students, and helps them to build a professional future. The forum focuses on the Digital Empowerment in Education, it is a gathering of education and technology experts to discuss and exchange insights on the importance of technology in development of education. The forum provides an unprecedented opportunity in Bahrain to meet and networking between educational institutions and companies of technology, to ensure access to a common vision on how to meet the requirements of those institutions of ICT in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf region. The forum is aligned with the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain embodied in a series of leading projects and programmes implemented by the Ministry of Education, specifically the Digital Education in Schools programme, which aims to equip students and teachers with the ability to employ technology. Information and communication in education, building national competencies capable of producing innovative and innovative digital content, networking in the electronic system, providing electronic content, enhancing communication with parents, and using Interactive book in the educational process. On the sidelines of the forum, an exhibition will held which will be accompanied with a presentation.
