EIGHTEEN ASIAN ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN AYI-2

Yogyakarta, Feb. 16 (ANTARA) - Some 18 artists from a number of Asian countries are to take part in the Second Asian Youth Imagination (AYI-2) Expo here February 28 to March 11, 2009.

The 18 foreign artists would come from South Korea, Myanmar, Taiwan, India, Japan, Singapore, according to Nunuk Ambarsari, curator of Jogya Gallery, where the expo will be staged.
"The exhibition is expected to help expand the network of young artists in Asia," Ambarwati said here on Thursday.
The performing arts exhibition was for the first time held in Japan in December 2008.
